About Dr. Anastasia Psomiadi

Dr. Anastasia Psomiadi, Ph.D. in Social Psychology and Master of Arts in Theology, is a pioneering entrepreneur deeply committed to social innovation. Hailing from a prominent Pontiac benefactor family, she has always been dedicated to issues of Social identity & Social Stereotypes, Sustainability & ESG, Local Communities, Stakeholders Engagement, Women's Empowerment, Responsible Entrepreneurship, Business Ethics, Cultural Heritage & Collective Memory, Social Innovation, and Social Health.
She was born in Greece, in Piraeus, the port of Athens. She grew up in a family full of love, honesty, and integrity. As she matured, she realized that the world had not met her expectations nor had it been approved by her. So she started to create initiatives to build a better world to live in.
Her fundamental criteria for every relationship are high moral standards, and she rejects any alternative, even if it appears beneficial to her.
Dr. Psomiadi loves and finds attraction in composing different and often conflicting scientific fields while creating the mechanisms that transform theoretical concepts into pragmatic actualization.

Since 2007, she founded Greece's first company specializing in Corporate Sustainability, redefining the field. She also established the country's first Social Enterprise dedicated to educating executives based on the innovative methodology she had created for Public-Private Partnerships.
Dr. Psomiadi as a Sustainability & ESG pioneer served as a lecturer and headed the Master of Business Administration program in Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Innovation, and Social Entrepreneurship at the University of East London and Queen Margaret University from 2016 to 2023, before relocating to the USA
A distinguished mentor and communication advisor, Dr. Psomiadi is renowned for her acumen in cultivating transformative partnerships between academia, public & European governmental entities, and private enterprises. Simultaneously, she holds the position of an Associate Researcher at the Laboratory of Experimental Social Psychology, where her research focus converges on Social Health and the societal implications of business networks and global cigar smoking communities.

Dr. Psomiadi's visionary concept led to the initiation and coordination of two national consultations, uniting municipalities, local communities, women's business entities, and women entrepreneurs & politicians. Based on the results of the consultations, she established the first Hub for women entrepreneurship in Greece, known as 'Womanitee,' dedicated to supporting women in business
Envisioning a world free from stereotypes, Dr. Psomiadi founded and leads the global social organization "Sister of the Leaf Global Movement" in 2017. She developed this organization based on sustainability's methodological tools, including stakeholder engagement. Through various educational, mentoring, and networking projects she empowers women in the cigar industry. Additionally, Dr. Psomiadi is a certified cigar sommelier and tobacconist by Tobacconist University and a certified official Judge of Cigar Smoking World Championship and also the exclusive organizer of CSWC in Greece. Dr. Psomiadi's journey extends even further, as she connects the dots between the cigar industry and social health though her research
As a dedicated public speaker, instructor, and facilitator, she promotes her social and business interests through conferences, seminars, and workshops. Her strong presence extends to publishing articles on her interests and participating in media interviews.
Furthermore, she has a track record representing and repositioning companies and organizations. Dr. Psomiadi's influence reaches across the globe, organizing global roundtables, business conferences, and startup contests in various countries, including the USA, Canada, South Africa, Egypt, Germany, Belgium, Australia, China, Hong Kong.
